We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive dining experience. Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in seating guests according to seating chart or guest preferences
- Manage waitlist during peak hours and provide accurate wait time estimates
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
Skills:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems is desirable
