Isometric Consulting is seeking to hire an experienced and result-driven IATF consultant who will implement IATF 16949:2016 management systems for our Tier 1 client’s operations.
Job Overview:
As an IATF consultant, you’d be joining a team of top-notch consultants dedicated to maximizing quality management systems for engineering and manufacturing environments towards improving processes, increasing quality, profits, and productivity. You will support all areas of the business in adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and 16949:2016 while working with top management, process owners, consultants, and quality management and personnel.
You will primarily be responsible for internal and external IATF 16949:2016 audit planning and support, as well as supporting the closure of audit findings. You must be a team player capable of working with individuals from multiple departments and different backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Audit the quality system and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Complete internal audits, LPAs, process audits, and product audits
- Write, approve, and assist with procedures and work instructions.
- Provide support and training to Quality personnel.
- Assist the Quality Director and Manager as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Summary: This position is responsible for setting up and implementing the IATF Management Systems for our clients.

Qualification:
- A bachelor’s or master's degree in engineering or technology preferred (preferably a master's degree)
- Certified Quality Engineer
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in the automotive industry
- At least 5–10 years’ experience as an IATF QMS Consultant.
- IATF 19649:2016 Lead Auditor qualifications
- Manufacturing and technology engineering work experience
- Preference for knowledge and experience in quality management systems (QMS), including IATF 16949 and 9001:2015 internal auditing, LPA’s, MSA, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, Control Plan, GD&T, DVP&R, Gauges, problem solving, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in paperwork, and project management
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work onsite at the Roxboro, NC, facility for a duration of approximately 3 months.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Highly developed problem-solving skills and techniques.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level.
