Receiving and Shipping Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely shipment and receipt of goods. The ideal candidate will be computer-savvy, have strong attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to company and customer requirements.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of shipments and receipts using company software.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for tracking shipments, updating reports, and communicating with vendors and internal teams.
• Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain efficient workflow.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations while handling shipments.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a shipping and receiving role or a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and shipments.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs as needed.
