What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Receiving Associate position at Lucid Hearing Holding Company, LLC?
Job Purpose : The Warehouse Associate responsibility is handling moving loading and unloading of materials by hand or by using a variety of material handling equipment. Opens and seals crates boxes cartons and other containers. Collects sorts stores and distributes materials. Process orders from requisitions and dispense stock items. May assist in inventory of stock including stock rotation. Responsible for the shipping receiving and processing of freight according to company policies and procedures. Ensures the orderly stocking and / or timely delivery of merchandise. May update and maintain the purchase order system as shipment are received cancelled or back ordered.
Summary of Essential Job Duties :
- Prepares orders by processing request and supply orders; pulling materials; packaging boxes; placing orders in delivery are for pickup
- Coordinate with all departments to fulfill specific and ongoing inventory and shipping needs
- Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality and national standards of shipping best practices.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping packaging area workstations neat and clean
- Maintaining a clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures rules and regulations
- Document any necessary updates to process and aid in inventory management
- Work in other areas of the business as requested to maintain knowledge and relationships necessary for an efficient and effective operations
- Organize and straighten the warehouse
- Pack and ship product securely and effectively to minimize damage
- Build and wrap pallets for secure shipment with freight carriers
- Aid in cleaning and preparation of machines for work
- Fill all orders with accuracy and timeliness while meeting deadlines
- Ensure that incoming and out going product and shipments are secure and well organized as possible
- Delivering of product to areas within the corporate office
- Unload and load trucks when necessary safely and efficiently using company provided equipment and / or manually in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain a safe and neat work area warehouse in accordance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies
- Knowledge of company mission purpose and goals
- Other and additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
