Key Responsibilities:
Drafting: Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD software, including plans, elevations, and sections specific to commercial and residential millwork.
Modification: Update and revise existing drawings as needed to reflect changes or corrections.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of all drawings and modifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with the shop manager, craftsmen, and other team members to ensure drawings meet project requirements and standards.
Quality Control: Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards.
Project Management: Assist in the planning and execution of drafting projects, ensuring timely completion.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting in a millwork or similar environment.
Skills:
