Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
* Manages resources across the environment; monitors daily performance and performs health checks; reviews and processes end-user provisioning and administration requests.
* Develop methods to automate daily repetitive tasks
* Requires an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory, Exchange, System Center, Lync, PowerShell, etc.
* Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and provides technical resolution to performance issues and incident events related to the server infrastructure.
Competencies Required
* Solid understanding of virtualized server environments
* Strong technology and troubleshooting skills with administration knowledge of VMware vSphere
* Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory Sites and Services
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with and convey information to internal and external parties with varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
* Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage timelines and prioritize workload in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
* Flexibility to occasionally provide after-hours and weekend support to support business needs.
* Resourceful and highly adept at problem identification and incident resolution using experience and developed analytical skills.
* Possesses general systems architecture and engineering skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
* 10 years of experience in a technology support role with exposure to virtualized environments.
* 10 years of experience administrating or supporting infrastructure systems.
* Financial services experience preferred.
Formal Education & Certification
* Associate's degree in Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent technical certification courses required.
