Electromechanical Engineer – Spin Down Filter Development
Position Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electromechanical Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of an advanced spin down filter system with induced electromagnetic fields, based on patented technology. The engineer will be responsible for translating the technical concepts outlined in the patent into a fully functional product, ensuring it meets performance, reliability, and manufacturability standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Design and Development
- Design and prototype the spin down filter system, including the main filter body, filter housing, filter head, flush valve, and multi-stage filter device.
- Develop and test the electromagnetic field generation system, including the coil, magnets, and controller, to ensure optimal filtration, water softening, and sanitation performance.
- Engineer the integration of metallic pins as a loose filtration bed and ensure their functionality in various operational modes (e.g., filtration, backwash).
Electromagnetic and Electrical Systems
Design and implement low-voltage DC current circuits for generating electromagnetic fields and pulsed electric fields (PEF) to reduce microbial levels and facilitate water hardness reduction.Develop control systems for alternating current flow to enable coil vibration during flush mode.Ensure electrical coupling between the filter head, filter device, and flush valve for efficient operation.Mechanical Engineering
Design and optimize the physical structure of the filter, including the magnet housing, tubular sidewalls, and paired magnet configuration.Conduct simulations and testing to ensure structural integrity under various water flow and pressure conditions.Develop mechanisms for the flush valve to operate both manually and automatically, ensuring reliable flushing of particulates.Prototyping and Testing
Build prototypes of the spin down filter system and conduct rigorous testing to validate performance metrics, including particulate filtration efficiency, water softening, and microbial reduction.Optimize the interaction between the magnetic fields, metallic pins, and filter device for maximum filtration efficiency.Test the durability and reliability of the system, including the electromagnetic components and mechanical parts, under various operating conditions.Collaboration and Documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industrial designers, manufacturing engineers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure the product is manufacturable and meets regulatory standards.Document all design processes, test results, and system specifications for future reference and intellectual property protection.Provide technical support for scaling up production and troubleshooting issues during manufacturing.Qualifications : Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.1 years of experience in electromechanical product design and development, preferably in filtration or water treatment systems.Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of electromagnetic systems, including coil and magnet design.Experience with low-voltage DC circuit design and control systems for electromechanical devices.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design.Familiarity with fluid dynamics and filtration system design principles.Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing electromechanical systems.Soft Skills
