The festival office is located in Beverly Hills and presented by IsraFest Foundation, Inc. – a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization in LA.
For 37 years, the Israel Film Festival has played a vital educational role in spotlighting Israel’s thriving film and television industry. The annual event provides an intercultural exchange to advance tolerance and understanding among diverse audiences and to enrich the American vision of Israel’s social and cultural diversity.
Position Overview
We're seeking an organized, detail-oriented Office Manager and Executive Assistant to oversee the administrative operations of our film festival. The ideal candidate will be the backbone of our organization, ensuring smooth daily operations while supporting various departments during our busy festival season and act as the right hand of our Executive Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the festival office, including maintenance of equipment, supplies, and facilities
- Coordinate internal and external communications, including email, phone, and in-person inquiries
- Oversee administrative systems, filing, and record-keeping
- Process invoices, track expenses, and assist with budget management
- Coordinate staff schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Assist with vendor relationships and contracts
- Support the festival team during the event with various administrative tasks
- Liaise between Tel Aviv office and Beverly Hills office to ensure efficient workflow
- Help coordinate volunteer onboarding and scheduling
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in office management or administrative roles
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Fundraising experience and Sponsor management
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database systems
- Experience with basic bookkeeping and budget tracking
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Previous experience in events, arts organizations, or film industry preferred
- Hebrew understanding or speaking – a plus.
- Film Festival and/or nonprofit experience – a plus.
