About the Israeli-American Council:
The mission of the Israeli-American Council (IAC) is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens the Israeli and Jewish identity of our next generations, the American Jewish community, and the bond between the peoples of the United States and the State of Israel.
Job Purpose:
The IAC is seeking for Ofek online classes host that will give technical support during classes. This is an up to 10 hours per week position and the Ofek Host reports to the Educational Director of OFEK Online Learning.
Duties include and are not limited to:
- Join assigned Ofek classes 15 minutes before class.
- Support the teacher in any need during the class.
- Take attendance and maintain attendance records.
- Contact the missing students.
- Responsible for the course WhatsApp group including open the group, sending reminders and respond to parents / participants
- Updates the student that doesn’t have WhatsApp account through email/text/phone call
- Monitoring the zoom chat during the course and react to any unusual activity.
- Record all the classes and upload to box folder.
- Taking pictures and short videos during the class. Participate in staff training, meetings, professional activities, seminars, and workshops as needed.
- Enforce administration policies and rules governing the program.
- At all times, behave in accordance with the core values of the IAC.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
