About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Facility Operations Manager to join our team at ISS Facility Services - North America. As an Assistant Facility Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, working closely with our regional key account managers, subcontractors, and ISS teams.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and vendor management standards of our contracts, ensuring they are met in a cost-effective, safe, and efficient manner. This will involve making decisions in the absence of the facility manager, addressing operational issues, and communicating effectively with our customers, alliance partners, and operations managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that account facilities are operated and maintained in a cost-effective and safe condition, meeting customer requirements and fulfilling contractual obligations.
- Communicate operating philosophy, objectives, and expectations to build a strong site team.
- Work with the facility manager to maintain the operations budget for Office Service, Custodial, and Facility Maintenance operations.
- Evaluate compliance on the site and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct activities using sound business practices to optimize expenditures and profitability.
- Maintain open lines of communication with customers, alliance partners, and operations managers.
- Identify and implement 'leading edge' technology in support of building operations.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
