What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at ISS?
Office assistant will report to Ashland Support Managers.
Office assistant responsibilities:
- Assist support managers in coordinating medical appointment summaries with County Board & houses
- Assist support managers in financial record-keeping for individuals
- Attend trainings & internal meetings to remain knowledgeable of day-to-day operations
- Responsible for the enforcement and observance of all Consumers’ Rights in accordance with applicable laws and ISS policy
- Responsible to ensure all paperwork (i.e. documentation, time sheets, completed consumer finances, etc.), are turned into the office in a timely manner
- Coordinating the interviewing and hiring of new employees with the Support Managers
Office assistant requirements:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
- High school graduate/GED
- Must be 21 years old
- Evidence of knowledge in record keeping and report writing
- Reliable transportation with appropriate insurance.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Meet all I-9 employment eligibility requirements
- Successful completion of State and FBI background checks including employment references, the DODD Abuser Registry, Nurse Aide Registry, Inspector General Registry, Offender Registry, System for Award Management Registry, Ohio Department of Medicaid Provider Exclusion and Suspension List, and the Ohio Corrections Database.
- Skills in the areas of interpersonal relationships, flexibility, problem solving and demonstration of good common sense.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
