We are seeking an Automation Manager to lead a highly technical team in designing and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions. This is a pivotal role where you will drive strategic automation initiatives, mentor a team of engineers, and collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities :
Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers in the development of new automation builds.
Drive the development process, ensuring strategic alignment with customer and manufacturing goals.
Monitor project progress, maintaining strict adherence to cost and timeline objectives.
Develop and implement strategies for automation builds, focusing on platform solutions, cost positioning, and OEM selection.
Actively participate in quoting processes to identify and execute optimal solutions for customers.
Oversee the full lifecycle of automation projects, from solution definition to equipment delivery.
Qualifications : Education :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred but not required. Experience :
Proven leadership experience (5 years) with a track record of developing and guiding technical teams.
5–10 years of hands-on experience in automation, with a strong background in controls, electrical, or mechanical engineering. Technical Skills :
Expertise in robotics, conveyance systems, and PLCs (Allen Bradley and Siemens experience preferred).
Strategic mindset with a focus on cost-effective platform solutions and long-term planning. Certifications :
Relevant certifications in automation or engineering fields are a plus. Soft Skills :
Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with customers and cross-functional teams.
Leadership excellence with the ability to inspire, develop, and lead a team of technical professionals.
Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving and solution-oriented skills.
