Job Summary and Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System. Is the interface between ISSPRO and the customers in all quality related communications. Document customer complaints, determine root cause, develop corrective action plans and validate countermeasure effectiveness.

Works with external suppliers, customers, and internal personnel in pursuit of continuing improvement practices and problem resolution.

Schedules, plans and conducts internal quality audits to assess the degree of compliance to the QMS as well as ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 Quality System Objectives.

The Quality Manager monitors and reports the status of quality objectives of the organization regularly to senior management. Operate as a member of the Material Review Board and other related matters. Provides appropriate quality assurance to ensure company goals are met as well as provide technical and operational guidance and training to company staff as directed by senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Prefer QMS (Quality Management System) or TQM (Total Quality Management) Certification.
  • 4 or more years of progressive experience in the Quality Area (manufacturing company experience).
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirement for annual UL audit.
  • Demonstrated experience in evaluating, monitoring, measuring and/or reviewing quality control and assurance processes and making recommendations for improvement/efficiencies.
  • Stong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with customers and colleagues.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 and experience in the implementation of quality system processes. Experience in conducting and assisting in audits.
  • Good presentation skills; ability to interface professionally with staff, suppliers, and customers. Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in numerical and statistical analysis. Report writing. Proficient in procedure writing, flowcharting, problem solving tools (fishbone diagnosis), etc.
  • Experience in performing root-cause analysis of process related failures and the creation of logical, analytical, relevant and succinct reports.
  • Experience applying quality assurance to services.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
