Site Manager

Overview

The Opportunity: IST is looking for friendly, service-oriented, experienced, customer-focused Site Manager to work full time Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. The candidate must have experience managing staff/people, experience in shipping and receiving processes, and oversee team that handles all incoming mail, FedEx, UPS packages at our corporate office and delivery around the campus. 

We offer professional training, skill enhancement and opportunities to advance toward supervisor, assistant manager and site manager positions.

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC

WEEKLY HOURS: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm - NO WEEKENDS AND PAID HOLIDAYS - 2 WEEKS PAID VACATION

Compensation: $24.00 - $24.00hr with annual bonus and raise

Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities for Site Manager: 

• Manage a team of 3 staff

• Have experience writting corrective actions, present annual reviews to employees, discuss raises, hiring new employees

• Have experience in Shipping and Receiving Center or running mail center and using hand held scanner
• Oversee staff sorting and distribution of internal mail to ensure its accuratly processed
• Experience printing out shipping labels/processing of overnight and accountable packages.

• Maintain employee database with location, name and status.
• Maintain file, storage and retrieval of mail/package logs and signatures.
• Maintain effective written and oral communications with clients and employees.
• Prioritize work and deploy staff as required to ensure customer needs are met in regards to on-time delivery of services and quality of work.
• Accurately prepare and distribute management reports to the client in a timely and consistent manner.
• Write and maintain all SOP's - standard operating procedures.
• Develops new procedures to improve the operation of the sites and to lower operating costs.
• Manages, trains and coaches employees and develops a work environment that promotes high motivation and customer satisfaction.
• Ensures the proper and safe use of all equipment used by employees.

Qualifications

Ideal Site Manager candidates will have experience managing staff, experience in shipping and receiving, and high-end customer service skills. Be reliable/dependable and attain excellent attendance and have experience operating mail equipment and general office equipment. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Have experience managing staff - writting annual employee reviews, corrective actions..etc. 
• Experience shipping out packages via UPS, FedEx and printing labels
• Experience operating mail postage machine and printing out labels 
• Experience scvanning all packages as they come into the office each day and deliver them promptly
• Maintain office to ensure areas are clean and neat; Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
• Create monthly reports tracking all financials - postage used, mail volumes..etc
• Have excellent email writting skills as strong commiuncation skills
• Must have valid DL and relaible car
