Information Technology Opportunity: I.T. Support Specialist
iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Information Technology team. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023. The organization provides business development and pursuit, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training services to clients within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (A/E/C) industry.
This shared-services company supports the IMI business units and provides a uniform, employee-based culture founded on our Support the Build mentality. We are currently looking for an I.T. Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team located at our office in Charlotte, NC. Our ideal candidate for an I.T. Support Specialist is someone who has 3-5 years of experience in Tier 2 Support, who can troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues beyond Tier 1 support while delivering exceptional customer service to the IMI organization.
Primary responsibilities for iSuite’s I.T. Support Specialist include:
- Providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Addressing and resolving issues that have been escalated from Tier 1 support, ensuring that solutions are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to minimize recurring issues.
- Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical challenges.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and best practices.
- Staying updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to provide informed support.
Primary qualifications for iSuite’s I.T. Support Specialist include:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as an IT Support Specialist, particularly in Tier 2 support.
- Comprehensive understanding of operating systems, networking, and common software applications.
- Expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Preferred certifications, such as CompTIA A and Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, are an asset.
