What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Engineer position at IT Avalon?
Job Details
- Work closely with Scrum team/POD (e.g. technical lead, systems analyst, developers, product manager) to identify system/functional requirements.
- Ability to perform manual testing and, especially, automation. This includes, but is not limited to preparing a detailed, comprehensive, test plans and test cases.
- Must be able to explain testing or automation best practices
- Track QA Metrics to ensure alignment with organization QA Goals
- Knowledge of testing tools such as X-Ray, Selenium with Cucumber Framework, or the like.
- Must be able to do SQL queries
- There will be coding test in interview process--must be able to solve basic coding challenges
- Ability to communicate across various teams (e.g. technical teams and stakeholders).
