Job Summary
The Director of Community will lead our growth initiatives, overseeing product development, community engagement, and strategic partnerships. This role requires an experienced leader with a strong background in community development, business strategy, and product growth within the education, technology, or MSP industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies for the growth and expansion of our products and initiatives.
- Product Development: Oversee the creation and launch of new products, training programs, and community-driven experiences.
- P&L and Budgeting: Manage the financial performance of our portfolio, including revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.
- Community Engagement: Drive community growth through innovative content, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
- Event & Program Expansion: Scale our events and programs to increase impact and participation.
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to refine our product offerings and community strategies.
- Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships to enhance our reach and value.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and executive leadership to align our growth initiatives with overall company objectives.
- Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure success and optimize future initiatives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Experience: 7 years in leadership roles focused on community building, product development, business growth, or executive education (preferably in the MSP or technology sector).
- Financial Acumen: Strong experience managing P&L, budgeting, and revenue-driving initiatives.
- Community Engagement Expertise: Proven ability to grow and scale community-based initiatives.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to identify new market opportunities and execute expansion strategies.
- Project & Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
- Marketing & Sales Alignment: Understanding of marketing and sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Event Management: Experience overseeing large-scale events, conferences, or educational programs.
