IBM Mainframe System Administrator

This role will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating an IBM Z series mainframe environment. Candidates will have extensive experience in mainframe operations, system upgrades, and performance tuning, ensuring the stability and efficiency of client mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IBM Z series mainframe systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and break/fix support to resolve operational issues.
• Implement and manage software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and infrastructure.
• Perform system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
• Monitor system security and apply necessary updates to maintain compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with vendors and support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
