JOB TITLE: Marketing Lead

GOVERNMENT AGENCY: N/A

POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position

LOCATION: Fully Remote/Telecommuting Position with minimal onsite support. Available for in-person meetings, working sessions, and picture day at ITC Federal Headquarters.

POSITION TIMING: ASAP; hiring immediately

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Marketing Lead (ML) facilitates, coordinates, and leads ITC Federal (ITC) in achieving its marketing objectives. The ML works closely with ITC's Business Development and Technology Office to develop marketing plans and campaigns promoting ITC service lines, centers of excellence, and marketing initiatives. They report to the Sr. Director of Proposals and assist technical teams and executive staff in preparing for technical and vendor conferences.The ML stays abreast of current and emerging technologies and market trends to keep ITC's content fresh and market ready.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Developing marketing strategies for new services being created within ITC
  • Preparing, developing, editing, and maintaining content for ITC's website, including press releases, case studies, social media announcements, blogs, articles, and other content as assigned
  • Updating and maintaining social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram), including the look and feel of the pages, images, and content representing the ITC brand
  • Maintaining a marketing library and knowledge repository, including articles, photos, and video library, to track ITC's story and history
  • Brainstorming fresh advertising ideas with senior management, including the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Technology Officer, the Chief Growth Officer, and the Chief Recruiting Officer
  • Organizing, coordinating, and facilitating support for upcoming events and conferences, including the day of deliveries, and providing any marketing support as assigned
  • Maintaining relationships with ITC's marketing vendors supporting the ITC brand
  • Cultivate and strengthen ITC's media presence nationally and locally, including participation in annual awards ceremonies within the GovCon and technology community
  • Coordinating media requests for interviews, as needed, for ITC staff
  • Other marketing duties, as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 7-10 years of experience supporting brand and marketing development for companies
  • Proficient in using MS Office 365, WordPress, and Adobe products, including PDF, Creative, Stock Photos, and Illustrator
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Highly organized and exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to facilitate and lead groups to meet project and writing internal and external deadlines
  • Extensive experience working with teams to prepare for vendor and technical conferences, including coordination, logistics, and preparing marketing materials
  • Capable of working with a diverse set of audiences
  • Builds media and marketing relationships to support the ITC brand

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • A or B.S. in Business, Marketing or Communications

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Self-starter with little oversight, able to multi-task and be highly organized
  • Passion for IT services, branding, and telling stories across audiences
  • Experience working in the GovCon and technology environments

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The candidate must be able to function in a general office environment.
