Enterprise Architect

Skill (Primary): : Technical Skills (APPS)-Enterprise Architecture-Enterprise Architecture

Duration : 12 Months Contract

Other Requirement : Location : Tyson VA and San Antonio, TX -

Job Description : To ensure the business solution designed is based on the holistic view across all the processes of assigned domain while leveraging the pre-delivered best Practices.

• To integrate/re-engineer / design process(s) to maximize the adoption and usage of pre-delivered Best Practices /Standard Functionalities
• To evaluate & recommend different appropriate product solutions based on customer requirements.
• To identify and facilitate customer to implement organizational changes required for effective business product Implementation
• To design and conduct solution workshop(s) to get early buy-in from the relevant stakeholders and thereby also identify additional opportunities to engage with the client
• To develop and guide others for their career progression
• To continually update oneself for developing self; contribute to business cases| market collaterals etc.
  
  

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Experience

• 20 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a substantial portion of experience in digital banking or financial services.
• Demonstrated expertise in a senior architecture role, designing and implementing large-scale enterprise solutions for banking or financial institutions.
  
  

Technical Expertise

• Proficient in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and solution design patterns, including microservices, SOA, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native architectures.
• In-depth experience with API design and integration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong understanding of digital banking security, encryption, and compliance standards, including PCI-DSS and PII protection.
  
  

Salesforce Experience: Experience with Salesforce (Financial Services Cloud) is an added advantage, particularly with CRM integration in digital banking ecosystems.

Business Acumen

• Comprehensive knowledge of banking industry trends, digital transformation, and regulatory environments affecting credit unions.
• Ability to align complex business needs with strategic architecture solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance.
  
  

Soft Skills

• Strategic mindset with proven experience in translating business goals into actionable enterprise architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Enterprise architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Knowledge of credit union-specific regulations, including UDAAP, Truth in Savings, and member data protection standards.
