Position: Microsoft Project Server Administrator
Location: Lake Forest, IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – non-negotiable right now)
Duration 6 month CTH - candidates MUST be able to convert without sponsorship
Interview: 2 step Teams
USC, GC & EAD Holders will work
MUST HAVE: MS Project Server Administrator – he needs someone that can apply what they know to their environment (MS Project Server).
Role – More of a technology person, not looking for a PM – This person will be interacting with a lot with PMs daily and should be knowledgeable about what goes into setting up a project plan. Focus is about managing the MS Project server environment and need someone who has done this before.

Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining users in MS Project Server. Handling requests to add resource to a given project plan and to the enterprise resource plan, setting permissions including timesheets, and training users how to enter their time against a certain project.
- To kick off projects, responsible for establishing project number/name, putting that project plan into system, configuring project values and ensuring values are classified correctly, understanding project financial information and entering into project plan (ex. Capital expenditures), communicating to PM once plan is ready,
- Once project has started, this person collaborates with PM to troubleshoot issues.
- Experience with another tool called OnePlan is a “nice to have”. (If this person has MS Project Server Administration and has worked with OnePlan, that would be a slam dunk)
- Has on team who is responsible for project reporting, this person won’t be directly responsible, but if they have project reporting/financials experience, that’s a plus.
- 4-5 years technical administration of MS Project Server project management tool.
- 2 years or more experience creating reports using MSFT Power BI
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining technology roadmaps and project management systems.
- Experience with Workday (Projects Module) & One Plan
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Good understanding of project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in the administration of project management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of project management practices and alignment with organizational standards.
- Ability to foster a collaborative environment and build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience with MS Project Web, Azure Dev Ops
