Job Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for IT GOAT. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills, a passion for technology, and a desire to help businesses improve their IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and generate new business leads through cold calls, emails, social media, and networking.
- Develop and execute strategic outbound sales campaigns to engage potential clients.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify target industries and decision-makers.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations with prospective clients for the sales team.
- Maintain and update CRM records to track leads, activities, and progress.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to understand their IT needs and pain points.
- Stay up to date on IT industry trends and IT GOAT’s service offerings to effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and sales targets.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation (preferably in an MSP, IT services, or technology environment).
- Strong understanding of IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and managed IT support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
