Solugenix is assisting a client, a financial services company, in their search for a Tableau Developer. This is a long term contract opportunity based out of Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid).
Qualifications
- Main: Tableau, Tableau Prep, SQL.
- Secondary: PowerBI, Python, Apptio.
- Communication skills, capable of explaining complex data issues in simple terms to a diverse audience.
- Passion for continual improvement and process design; seeks new ways to improve effectiveness, quality, and compliance.
- Confident and clear communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence leaders/partners/SMEs, and enable progress through data-based decision making.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
- Demonstrable experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g.: Informatica, Cognos, MicroStrategy, matplotlib, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in data visualization with a focus on financial data analysis.
- Results Oriented – Track record of driving results across multiple channels and initiatives.
- Proactive Nature – Ability to work autonomously and proactively to drive results.
- Design and Develop data dashboards using Tableau, Tableau Prep, and other supporting tools.
- Develop SQL queries, scripts, and routines to automate data processing and enhance dashboard accuracy and efficiency.
- Create visual representations of various data points to "tell the story” and immediately answer the most commonly asked questions.
- Maintain seamless data links across internal systems ensuring high data quality and consistency.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Business Stakeholders to define data and analytic requirements.
- Regularly review and update dashboards to reflect changes in technology infrastructure and business strategy.
- Generate insightful data visualization and reports to aid in decision-making and demonstrate metric value to stakeholders.
- Find opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.
- Communicate and work reciprocally with Business and Product teams to support changes and implementation.
- Supports the creation of tools and processes to improve the agile team's ability to reliably execute and relentlessly innovate.
