Key Responsibilities
- Customize or configure Intelligrants software to provide agency-specific functionality for disaster recovery grants management.
- Collaborate with the application architect and database administrator to design and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain source code in Python for the enhancement and optimization of Intelligrants.
- Support integration with Heroku PostgreSQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Develop and deploy dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI to assist in tracking and reporting disaster recovery grants.
- Ensure the application is scalable, reliable, and efficient to meet the needs of the State's grant management processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in the application, database, and integrations.
- Work with project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the Intelligrants system to ensure seamless performance and compliance with disaster recovery grant management processes.
- Strong understanding of Intelligrants grant management software architecture.
- Proven experience in Python programming, specifically for application development and customization.
- Experience with Heroku PostgreSQL for data management and application deployment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI for creating data visualizations and reports.
- Solid understanding of application architecture, software development life cycles, and grant management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with disaster recovery systems or grants management is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Heroku, AWS, or similar.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
