What I Would Like Would In An Attorney
- be self motivated and able to work without supervision as the position will be remote/virtual
- be familiar with practicing in the counties surrounding Tampa Bay and live in the Tampa Bay area
- has courtroom experience
- professional, friendly and nice to all parties involved, while being assertive.
- communicating with clients to make sure they are informed as to the status of their case
- being very responsive to client contact and questions and get back with them quickly or let them know when
- listen attentively to clients, understand their concerns, and offer realistic solutions that align with their goals
- organized and efficiently manage a high volume of cases and deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and review work to prevent mistakes
- speak and write Spanish and English without a strong Spanish accent
- excellent grammar and ability to write well
- have an excellent speaking voice
- empathetic and compassionate and able to provide emotional support while maintaining professional objectivity
- at least three years experience working in a law firm specializing in family law. Primarily divorce, paternity, children issues, domestic violence etc.
- interested in resolving cases by settlement, rather than trial
- be a female attorney
- taking consultations with potential clients on a scheduled basis
- be excellent consulting with and building a rapport with potential clients and excellent at retaining clients as the clients the person retains will be hers throughout the process
- overall a very likeable, friendly, person who would match the rest of us.
- someone who is willing to start for less to build her client base and be paid on an hourly basis.
- someone in their late 30s or 40s.
- maybe start working part time until can build client base.
- no marketing of the firm is required by the attorneys other than taking consults, as I do all of the marketing by bringing in the PCs.
