Job Title: Attorney – Federal Court, First-Party Property, and Flood Insurance

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Attorney with a strong background in federal court litigation, first-party property insurance, and flood insurance claims. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in each of these areas, demonstrating a proven track record of managing complex legal matters and providing strategic counsel to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in federal courts, handling a range of legal matters with a focus on flood insurance and first-party property claims.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements in compliance with court rules and regulations.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on first-party property disputes, including claim denials, coverage issues, and bad faith litigation.
• Manage flood insurance claims, including representing clients under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and addressing complex issues related to property damage.
• Conduct legal research, case analysis, and risk assessment to ensure effective case strategies.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals, adjusters, and expert witnesses to build strong cases.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments, case law, and regulatory changes related to flood insurance and property claims.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of federal court litigation experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in first-party property insurance law.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience handling flood insurance claims.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
