Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of IT consultants and staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the team, ensuring all coding practices meet established standards.
- Develop and implement best practices to ensure client's enterprise applications are maintainable and supportable.
- Collaborate with architects to ensure software design is properly implemented.
- Evaluate and recommend software solutions to improve the quality of 's IT applications.
- Manage project life cycles in collaboration with project managers, ensuring timely and efficient development.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide the team in resolving them.
- Interview and hire qualified candidates for open roles within the department.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal and external clients and client's IT Management.
- Develop and mentor staff to ensure high-level competency and performance.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to schedules, identifying training opportunities and improving efficiencies.
- Stay current on internal procedures and external client requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical certifications are preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in an IT management, technical lead, or project management role.
- 5 years of experience supervising or leading a support team.
- Experience with custom applications or customization in Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products.
- Proficiency in .NET technologies, Kendo UI Telerik, C#.NET, Web API, REST API, JSON, SQL Server, Oracle, XML, HTML5, AngularJS.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
- Experience with MS Visual Studio Team (TFS) server and Agile (SCRUM) methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent planning, training, and follow-up abilities.
- Proven project management and leadership capabilities.
