Key Responsibilities
- Application Administration & Support: Provide advanced expertise in administering and supporting custom applications to ensure smooth operations for the agency.
- Custom Application Development: Lead the development of custom applications to support the agency’s workflow, financial support team, and other initiatives.
- Financial Application Development: Design and build applications specifically to support the financial needs of the agency, ensuring compliance with relevant state regulations and requirements.
- Workflow Solutions: Develop custom applications to streamline and automate workflows, utilizing Exchange APIs to provide solutions for insurance-related processes.
- Document Management Integration: Create and maintain applications that support document management systems, specifically for insurance applications, claims, and other related documents, utilizing the P8 API.
- Compliance & Security: Enforce and adhere to state-mandated development standards, such as ensuring secure login processes using Active Directory.
- XML Integration: Develop applications that interface with databases and systems using XML interfaces, ensuring smooth communication and data transfer.
- CMS Section 111 Process: Develop applications to generate and read files for the CMS Section 111 process, supporting compliance with federal regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other technical teams, stakeholders, and agency leadership to ensure that applications align with business goals and technical requirements.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and updates to ensure that applications remain functional, secure, and up-to-date.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Expert-level proficiency in .NET languages and technologies (minimum of 10 years of experience).
- Experience developing applications for state agency financial support teams, understanding the unique needs of these teams and processes.
- Proven ability to develop applications utilizing Exchange APIs for workflow solutions in state agencies, particularly those related to insurance coverage.
- Experience working with document management systems (specifically for insurance applications, claims, and related documents) using the P8 API.
- Knowledge of state-mandated application development requirements, including user logins via Active Directory.
- Experience integrating with DB/c systems using XML interfaces, ensuring efficient communication and data processing.
- Experience developing applications to support the CMS Section 111 process, including the ability to generate and process files for compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience interacting with executive management, providing updates and communicating technical concepts clearly and effectively.
