We are seeking a highly qualified Support Services Project Manager to provide expertise and leadership in the management of projects in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management, team leadership, and have expertise in project management tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Develop detailed project plans, task schedules, and milestones to effectively track and manage the process and costs. Define program goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategy. Develop project timelines, resource allocations, and budgets. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of programs and projects on time and within budget. Manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies when necessary.
- Communication & Reporting: Regularly communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including senior management. Ensure consistent collaboration with stakeholders and teams to meet program and project goals. Provide ongoing evaluation and improvements for program management processes and practices.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team consisting of developers and business analysts. Provide day-to-day support for ongoing processes and projects.
- Process Improvement: Provide ongoing evaluation and recommendations for process improvements. Actively participate in adjusting processes to meet evolving needs.
- Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure compliance with program management processes, standards, and confidentiality laws, including HIPAA regulations.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in project management.
- 5 years of team leadership experience with developers and business analysts.
- 5 years of experience with project management methodologies and tools (Scrum, Waterfall, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Any field).
- Skills & Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working within time and budget constraints.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in fluent English.
- Scrum Master Certification.
- Master’s Degree (Any field).
