Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Solutions Architect to lead and deliver cutting-edge data-sharing solutions in a dynamic enterprise environment. The role focuses on designing and implementing secure, scalable, and innovative data-sharing frameworks leveraging Azure and Snowflake ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement advanced data-sharing solutions, including Iceberg data shares and external client connections with Azure Data Share.
- Develop strategies for secure data integration with Azure Data Lake and OneLake platforms.
- Collaborate on end-to-end Azure ecosystem solutions, with a focus on MS Fabric and MS Purview integration.
- Optimize data extraction, distribution, and sharing workflows.
- Ensure secure authentication and access mechanisms, utilizing identity providers, federation models, and OpenID Connect protocols.
Required Qualifications:
Hands-On Expertise:
- Proven experience with Azure Data Share and Snowflake, with a focus on data-sharing architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure Data Lake and OneLake platforms.
- Familiarity with MS Fabric and MS Purview in enterprise data environments.
Technical Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of data extraction, distribution, and secure sharing methodologies.
- Experience with authentication frameworks, including identity federation and OpenID Connect.
Preferred Experience:
- Demonstrated success in deploying secure external client connections within enterprise-scale Azure environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Azure ecosystem, with emphasis on data-sharing innovation.
