Requirements
- Managing the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable
- Documenting daily collection activity
- Researching account disputes and billing discrepancies
- Post daily deposits/cash receipts to the appropriate customer accounts
- Communicate with customers regarding billing discrepancies and questions
- Process credit card transactions and maintain autopay customers
- Research and resolve sales tax issues
- Upload invoices into customers' AP portals
- Process invoice adjustments and write-offs in the system
- Other accounting duties as assigned
- 5 years previous relevant B2B Accounts Receivable experience
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and Avalara is a plus
- Experience and working knowledge of sales tax rules and regulations throughout the US and internationally
- Experience working with/for multi-entity companies and ensuring AR is correctly managed between entities
- Strong Computer Skills
- Ability to coordinate with the sales department and customers to create effective working relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, well organized and detail-oriented
- MS Excel - Advanced
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Able to proactively utilize resources for completions of work
- Sit at a computer for 8 hours per day
- Keyboarding for 8 hours per day
- Near Vision (working with small objects or reading small print)
- Speaking (communicating information to clients / coworkers)
- Hearing Requirements (In person speech, telephone, other sounds)
- Onsite if local to the Tempe/Greater Phoenix area
- Remote if residence is outside of a reasonable commute
