Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Manager and Assistant Manager Servers to join our team. As a Manager and Assistant Manager over the service team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all customers receive outstanding service while enjoying their meals. You will be the face of our establishment, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction.
This roll will receive hourly along with tips.
Duties
- Scheduling your service team in advance.
- Monitoring daily sales and calculating estimated staffing needed to keep cost down
- Reviewing clocked in and out hours for accuracy.
- Submitting staff payroll hours to HR weekly or Bi-weekly.
- Completing and submitting new hire paperwork to HR.
- Making sure the crew is properly trained and knows our menu.
- Balancing POS at the end of your shift.
- Keeping the front of the restaurant always in pristine condition.
- Submitting ordering sheets for your department so supplies are not out of stock.
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling and safety guidelines.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service flow during busy periods.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous manager experience is required.
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work as part of a team are essential traits for success in this role.
