The Member Experience Specialist at Itasca Country Club is responsible for providing an exceptional level of service and engagement to members in exclusive member-only areas: the Members Lounge, Phil’s Bar, the 6th Stand, and the Shark Shack. This role combines bartending, serving, and member relationship management to ensure that every member's experience is memorable and exceeds expectations.
Success Profile
Service Excellence:
- Deliver an elevated level of service in all interactions with members.
- Bartend and serve beverages and food items with accuracy, efficiency, and flair.
- Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all club standards, policies, and procedures for food and beverage service.
Member Engagement:
- Develop a deep understanding of members' preferences, names, and backgrounds to personalize their experience.
- Actively engage with members to foster a sense of community and belonging.
- Handle member inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Stay updated on club offerings, events, and member programs to inform and excite members about opportunities.
Area Management:
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and aesthetics of the Members Lounge, Phil’s Bar, the 6th Stand, and the Shark Shack.
Operational Duties:
- Manage inventory of bar and beverage supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained without excess or shortfall.
- Comply with all health, safety, and liquor laws, ensuring safe and responsible service at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Hospitality and Service Skills:
- Bartending: Ability to prepare and serve drinks efficiently and correctly. General knowledge base of classic cocktails.
- Serving: Experience in serving food, with an emphasis on presentation and quality.
Member Relationship Management:
- Skills in engaging with members, understanding their needs, and fostering relationships to enhance their club experience.
Availability:
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, club events, and most holidays, indicating a need for flexibility in scheduling.
Teamwork:
- A positive, dynamic, and energetic approach to work, contributing to team morale and service excellence.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
