Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and summarizing medical records, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of medical data and supporting healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care.
Duties
- Review and analyze medical records to extract relevant information.
- Summarize patient histories, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any discrepancies in medical records.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize various systems to document findings and maintain accurate records.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and coding practices relevant to the role.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of medical records is essential.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems or similar software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information.
