Objective / Project Overview
A Reliability Engineer is required to collaborate with our soft goods teams in Reliability Labs in Shanghai and various contract manufacturing locations across China. Engineers will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet and exceed customer expectations in terms of robustness, durability, and reliability. This will be achieved by providing support for lab testing capabilities, facilitating daily operations, and enabling swift identification and rectification of design flaws.
Scope/Success Criteria
- Prepare detailed and accurate test reports in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineers and vendors to execute reliability tests according to established test plans and deliver timely results.
- Assist in failure analysis investigations.
- Collaborate with vendors to calibrate and maintain reliability facilities as well as to resolve technical challenges.
- Support lab logistics, including inventory management and organization.
Skills:
- B.S. degree or higher in Engineering of relevant field
- Mechanical, Automation, Materials Science, Electrical, etc.
- Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or experimental setting.
- Familiar with typical reliability test procedure, including
- Environmental
- Mechanical
- Understanding of failure analysis techniques (X-Ray, CT, SEM/EDS, FTIR, XPS, C-SAM).
- Experience with lab management
Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher in Engineering of relevant field
- Mechanical, Automation, Materials Science, Electrical, etc.
- Required to be on-site, M-F, in Cupertino

Pay: $149,849.00 - $159,262.00 per year
