Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Hardware Reliability Engineer to join our team at OSI Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring and improving the durability and reliability of new products by collaborating with hardware engineering groups throughout the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or materials science, with experience in design, reliability, validation, and thermal analysis. Additionally, expertise in failure analysis techniques, FMEA, and DOE is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) to ensure robust design.
- Developing and implementing innovative reliability tests.
- Researching state-of-the-art technology to understand root causes of test failures.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in mechanical assemblies and industry test standards (JEDEC, ASTM, IEEE).
- Hands-on experience in design, reliability, validation, and thermal analysis.
- Proficiency in failure analysis techniques.
