Job Description & Skill Requirement:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Project Manager to provide direct support to the supply chain team at our BearCat Manufacturing Inc, at the facility located in Wickenburg, AZ. This on-site role will focus on reducing excess inventory, analyzing raw data to generate actionable business intelligence, collaborating with product engineering to drive material cost reduction, and executing supplier development strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in supply chain management, critical thinking, and stakeholder communication, along with experience in a manufacturing procurement setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze inventory trends and implement strategies to reduce excess inventory while maintaining service levels.
- Develop and execute supplier development strategies to improve performance, cost, and reliability.
- Work closely with product engineering to identify and execute material cost reduction opportunities.
- Translate raw data into meaningful business insights and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and planning teams to drive supply chain improvements.
- Engage with suppliers to enhance relationships, improve lead times, and negotiate better terms.
- Support cross-functional projects that enhance supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Other duties as required, which may include direct procurement activities as a part of the local sourcing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Operations Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, supply chain, procurement, or supplier development.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven experience in data analysis and business intelligence development.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
