Role Description : Information Technology Help Desk Technician
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Information Technology Help Desk Technician to join our dynamic team at iTekz in a full-time capacity. The technician will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to end-users, troubleshooting network devices, and resolving IT-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktop computers, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Communicate effectively with end-users to gather information, diagnose issues, and deliver resolutions.
- Follow ITIL practices for incident management and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions.
- Strong technical support and help desk experience, with a focus on desktop support.
- Proven experience troubleshooting desktop computers, printers, and network devices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on user satisfaction.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and processes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), are a plus.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and support for wired and wireless networks.
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
