JOB SUMMARY
The Sample Prep Associate is responsible for preparing samples for individual testing and maintaining machinery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Properly dries wet samples, stamps/cuts each sample to specifications.
- Correctly weighs each sample and determines if it can be analyzed.
- Catalogues all test samples.
- Works efficiently and effectively to ensure all samples are prepped for analysis.
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment as needed.
- Works with Team Lead to ensure optimum workflow.
- Assists and supports other departments areas as needed.
- Maintains a safe and orderly work environment
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two (2) years of related job experience
- Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks
- Effective problem solving
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
PREFERRED
- Mechanical vocational training or equivalent military training.
