Job Description / Requirements:
- Collaborate with the Production Manager and area leads to create and manage production schedules based on capacity and demand forecasts.
- Develop production planning and scheduling tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in the production process.
- Ensure the accuracy of project management boards and oversee the successful transition of projects from planning to the production floor.
- Build and maintain capacity plans, modeling various delivery scenarios to identify potential challenges and optimize production processes.
- Escalate long-term capacity or equipment constraints to ensure production schedules are realistic and achievable.
- Serve as the main point of contact for updates and coordination between production, logistics, and other departments regarding ongoing production and shipping statuses.
- Facilitate the smooth flow of products between production teams and logistics to meet shipping and delivery deadlines.
- Direct report to the Director of Operations Hagerstown.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in manufacturing or a related industry is a plus.
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of production planning tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to model delivery scenarios and build capacity plans.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and address long-term capacity and equipment challenges.
- Experience in project management and ensuring the smooth transfer of projects to production.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
