The Role
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at VMD. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure adherence to quality management systems such as ISO-9001 and lead auditing activities to maintain compliance.
- CAL Activities: Organize and conduct plant calibration activities to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with internal customers to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to drive quality enhancements.
- RGA Review: Review non-conformances and contribute to corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Inspection Team Support: Work closely with inspection team members to uplift inspection skills and knowledge.
- Corrective Actions: Issue and respond to internal and external corrective actions requests.
- Maintenance and Development: Maintain product certifications and develop process control plans, flow diagrams, and PFMEA documents.
- Capability Studies: Perform capability studies on processes to ensure they meet requirements.
- SWI and Profiles: Create standard work instructions and quality profiles for manufacturing, engineering, and quality processes.
- Product Development Support: Assist with product development and ensure quality requirements are met.
- Training and Communication: Assist with quality training and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
