What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales to Federal Government position at ITL Solutions?
ITL Solutions is searching for a new member to join our inside sales team.
ITL Solutions is a fast-growing AS9100 / AS9120 / ISO 9001:2015 certified Defense Contractor who supports our customers in the Maritime and Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) sectors. We are searching for a person with experience in quoting and bidding on federal government Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Experience in the US Navy and Maritime sectors is desired, but not necessary.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Understanding of obtaining quotes from suppliers and providing quotes to customers.
- Knowledge of government buying and purchasing as well as FAR and DFARS clauses.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Outlook and Office.
- Familiarity with NSNs, Military Standards, Labeling and Packaging.
- Able to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Export Controlled (EAR and ITAR) Information.
- Able to read and interpret instructions.
- Interested in solving problems.
- Other duties as prescribed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Operational knowledge of and practical use of the Microsoft Office Suite, preferably MS word and excel and the knowledge of and practical use of the Internet.
- ISO 9001: 2015 /AS9100/9120 Quality System
- A Valid Drivers’ license.
- Ability to gain access to and drive aboard Federal Government /Military Installations.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Attention to Detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Background and reference checks will be conducted and ethics is part of regular performance appraisals. Hourly rate.
- Willingness to learn!
