ITnova is seeking a Procurement Specialist to execute contracts and procurement processes for the Key Bridge Rebuild Project. The candidate will be responsible for vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Responsibilities :
Prepare / issue Request for Proposals (RFP's) that align with project specific requirements.
Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier's reputation and history.
Serve as a liaison between the project team, vendor, and legal to resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues.
Qualifications :
Supply chain experience working with the RFP / Bid process, contract development / negotiation and execution.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Detail oriented with effective organization and coordination skills.
Ability to :
Learn company specific applications and procedures
Remain flexible when dealing with changing requirements
Multi-task and work proactively to resolve issues
Work independently
Effectively collaborate with others in a team-based environment
Strong work ethic that can work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team with the ability to build strong relationships.
