Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Director of Quality to lead and elevate the quality function at a high-precision manufacturing facility serving the aerospace and defense sectors. This role reports directly to the VP and interacts regularly with the executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the site’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and NADCAP standards.
- Oversee audits, certifications, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve product quality, reduce risk, and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic guidance to quality engineering, inspection, and compliance teams.
- Serve as the primary quality liaison to executive leadership and major customers.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years in a senior quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience reporting to VP and/or C-suite.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AS9100, ISO standards, and NADCAP compliance.
- Aerospace or defense industry experience is essential.
