We are seeking a talented Peoplesoft Developer to join our dynamic team. The City of Raleigh's Information Technology Department, recognized for its innovation, seeks a PeopleSoft Technology Analyst to be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing modifications to PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and Finance modules across various city departments.

In addition to Peoplesoft experience, strong analysis skills, communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities are crucial for success in this role. As a member of our matrixed Center of Excellence, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of application configuration and development, a strong grasp of user and role security, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business staff.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Act as a primary technical resource for PeopleSoft incidents and service requests, collaborate with stakeholders to meticulously gather and analyze requirements for Peoplesoft application modifications.
• Design and develop customizations, integrations, and enhancements within the Peoplesoft environment.
• Assist in system upgrades, patches, and migrations as necessary.
• Familiarize yourself with various software products used across the City to identify potential interfaces to meet client needs.
• Write clean, efficient code that adheres to company standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure applications meet functional and performance requirements.

Typical Qualifications :

Education and Experience :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or directly related field and two years of experience related to assignment.

Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
