Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing company in Hartford City, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for their 1st Shift team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Conduct repairs and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to plan and execute daily activities, including PMs and projects.
- Provide expert advice on purchasing needs and assist with inventory management.
- Support equipment installation and maintenance of air compressors and compressed air components.
- Apply welding and fabrication skills to support various projects (desired but not required).
Requirements:
- Strong foundation in mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
- Effective troubleshooting and repair skills for mechanical equipment.
- Professional certifications such as HVAC or electrical are highly valued.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably with similar responsibilities.
