Position Summary
Perform routine duties to move and store material and parts.
Essential Responsibilities
- Move materials and supplies to various departments as designated.
- Assist shipping room personnel in simple shipping and receiving functions, such as transporting materials, loading and unloading trucks.
- Assists in keeping entire plant in neat and orderly fashion as well as shipping and receiving area.
- Operates motorized and hand equipment as needed for nonproduction job, such as moving machines, scrap, trash, etc.
- Performs daily inspection of lift truck.
- SAP transactions for material movement.
- Understanding of material flow though the shop.
- Support the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost methods of the facility
- Other duties may be assigned
Position Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diplomaLANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Hourly range is from $20.14 to $29.86, plus a benefit plan.Salary : $20 - $30
