L2 SRE Support Engineer
Work Location: Lake Mary, Florida/Pittsburg, PA (Hybrid)
Locals Preferred.
We are seeking a highly experienced Level 2 Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 12 years of experience to provide critical support for our production systems. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, performance, and uptime while collaborating with development teams to implement best practices in incident management and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain system performance, reliability, and availability.
- Respond to and resolve escalated incidents, ensuring swift recovery and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and improve automated systems for incident response.
- Conduct root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews to prevent future incidents.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks and SOPs.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 support as needed.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across the team.
Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Knowledge of database management and optimization.
Salary : $30 - $50
