Job Description:
Chemtronics is seeking an Accounting Supervisor. This position is a key member of the finance and accounting team, reporting to the Business Unit Controller. The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day transactions, accounting policy admin and reporting. Maintains accounts and ensures compliance within all regulations and reporting requirements. Prepares budget forecast and accounting information for management by gathering, verifying, and analyzing financial data in a timely manner; includes P&L statements, general ledgers, financial transactions and balance sheets. Implements company accounting policies and procedures. Solves straightforward accounting problems and analyzes possible solutions using standard accounting policies and procedures. Supervises an accounts receivable specialist.

Chemtronics is located in Kennesaw, GA and has approximately 75 employees that this position would be responsible for supporting with the accounting team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Responsible for supervision of Accounts Receivable personnel. Review and ensure accuracy of the AR and AP functions including, but not limited to: vendor invoices to be paid according to remittance terms negotiated with the vendor by the Purchasing Department, outstanding checks are reviewed monthly and stop payments are issued accordingly, 1099 preparation, credit management, payment processing, account reconciliation, etc.
- Review and properly code monthly P-card statements for accuracy of reporting and spending limits.
- Maintain paper and electronic records per ITW records retention policy.
- Prepare and enter journal entries for monthly close.
- Assist with monthly reporting requirements.
- Assist with preparation of annual operating plan and long-range plan (LRP).
- Assist in preparation of year-end tax package for Corporate Office
- Maintenance of standards costs, bills of materials, and inventory
- Back-up payroll managment
- Special projects as requested by management
- Assign work, approve timecards, complete performance reviews and provide coaching and growth opportunities to direct report
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar degree and experience
- 4 years experience in accounting
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Microsoft Excell knowledge with experience in pivot tables and formulas, with Power-BI experience preferred.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent data entry, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and prioritize team workload
- Excellent communication and people skills including ability to read, write, and communicate using the English language.
- Proficient in the use of ERP systems
- Proficient in the knowledge and use of MS Office with ability to consistently mature Excel skills
- Knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements and experience in their application
