Ivie Lane is a fast growing manufactured housing operator. The principals of Ivie Lane have significant real estate private equity experience and are looking to add to their growing company. Since its inception 9 years ago, Ivie Lane has purchased 11 manufactured home communities in Florida, Georgia, and Texas and has another property under agreement.Ivie Lane intends to grow its presence quite significantly. The ideal candidate should be seeking a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant room for advancement and learning as the company continues to grow. POSITION SUMMARY : The Part Time Accountant will support the accounting functions of the firm, including, but not limited to : RESPONSIBILITIES : Help implement accounting systems within our property management software Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank accounts Account for new property purchases Process payroll Process investor distributions Help deliver loan deliverables to lenders Account for security deposits and send out Notices to Impose Claims on Security Deposits Work with External Accountant on Tax Return Process the transfer of ownership for mobile homes, including verifying ownership details and ensuring proper documentation is provided.Conduct title searches to confirm ownership, lien status, and any issues related to mobile home titles.Ensure all title documents are accurate, complete, and in compliance with state and local regulations.Communicate with state and local agencies to ensure proper title registration and compliance.Maintain accurate records of all title transactions, including title issuance, transfers, and lien releases.Work with financial institutions and other stakeholders to verify liens and ensure clear titles before transfer.Assist residents with inquiries regarding title status, transfer processes, and legal requirements.Stay current with changes in regulations and laws related to mobile home titles to ensure compliance. QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelors Degree. 3 years of experience as a public accountant CPA required Experience with property management software Familiar with fund accounting (preferred) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Highly organized, detail-orientated, proactive, and a team player who takes ownership Balance competing priorities and work effectively under pressure Strong verbal and written communication skills
